Welcome back to the next part of Dungeon Diver! After a chaotic arrival and a startling revelation, Jay and Ava find themselves trapped within the Grand Citadel, a seemingly safe zone that hides a darker truth. Navigating through its artificial safety, they must uncover the Citadel's real purpose and find a way out, or risk becoming just another cog in its mysterious machinery. Joined by an enigmatic Elf Lord, their journey takes them deeper into the heart of a controlled wilderness, where every encounter and transaction reveals a new layer of this elaborate prison. Will they escape the Citadel's grasp, or be consumed by its secrets?
The illusion of injuries dissolved, Jay stood unharmed, facing the pale-haired Lord named Ren. Ava, having turned away the two wolfmen who now regarded her as their leader, rejoined them.
"You can see through my trick and dare tell me? You don't fear you'll face the same fate as your leader?" Jay challenged, a grin playing on his lips.
Ren shrugged, their analytical eyes unwavering. "I know you saw me hide before the serpent attacked, and we use the same light magic technique. It would be more suspicious for me not to point it out, don't you think?"
