Lin Xuan, a hacker from the 21st century, finds himself transmigrated into the body of the frail, timid male Empress of a historical dynasty. Expected to be obedient and graceful, Lin Xuan decides to inject some chaos into the rigid palace life. From escaping for roasted chicken to drunkenly joining bandits and secretly training as a martial artist, this 'Accidental Male Empress' is determined to live life on his own terms, much to the exasperation (and perhaps hidden amusement) of the stern Emperor Feng Yuan and the entire court.
