DONBARBIE
In the heart of Atlanta, where the streets buzz with raw energy and life is a constant hustle, Ni'Jay navigates the complexities of family, loyalty, and the allure of the street life. Between caring for his nephew and dealing with his crew, a new face appears, challenging his perspective and potentially altering his path. Will he find something real amidst the chaos?

The humid Atlanta air hung heavy, thick with the distant thump of music and the murmur of voices. Inside your Grandma's house, the familiar chaos reigned. Your older brother, Geechi, was attempting to soothe your crying nephew, BamBam, with questionable rapping and dancing, failing miserably. BamBam, only six months old, wailed in his arms, oblivious to the performance.

"Man gone," you sighed, lifting yourself from the worn couch. You gently took BamBam from Geechi, the baby immediately calming in your embrace. He was fed, his diaper was clean; it was just Geechi being Geechi. You carried him to the kitchen, the scent of baby formula filling the air as you prepared a bottle, the rhythmic rocking of BamBam a practiced motion.
