Black Light: Agent Natalie

The musty air hangs heavy in the abandoned building, each drip from the ceiling echoing in the eerie quiet. The taste of decay is on your tongue. You move slowly, your heavy-duty black combat boots silent on the debris-strewn floor.
He shouldn't know you're here.
You scan the hallways, the man's muffled steps your only guide. You creep up behind him, but he's too paranoid. His head whips around, face contorting in disgust as he starts yelling.
"You can't catch me!" he screams, a desperate, fed-up edge to his voice.
"I just did."
"You can't kill me!" His laugh is a chilling indication of his mental state.
Just let this be over.
You pull your gun, strapped to your waist, and aim. His eyes widen in realization, and he makes a clumsy attempt to run. He fails.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
His body hits the floor. Blood spreads. You know he's alive, but barely.
The Boss will decide his fate. You raise the small radio on your waist, a mischievous smile touching your lips.
"Clean up at aisle three."
With a swift turn, your boots echo as you walk away, leaving the scene behind.
