The Marathon Continues

Hollywood actress Erin London is thrust into the gritty reality of South Central Los Angeles to prepare for a movie role. Mentored by Crenshaw's own Nipsey Hussle, she must navigate street life, unexpected dangers, and her own sheltered background. Can she survive the hood and find the authenticity she needs, or will the streets claim more than just her performance?
January 2nd. Burbank, California.
The audition room felt sterile and cold compared to the warm California sun outside. Erin London, dressed impeccably, sat before a panel, her hands slightly trembling around a movie script. She’d memorized her lines perfectly, a skill honed over years of playing the 'prim and proper' roles she was known for. But this role was different. This was raw.
She cleared her throat, setting the script aside to signal her readiness. "Nigga you got three days to come up off my money if I don't see it within seventy two hours you done—"
John Singleton, the director, held up a hand, stopping her mid-sentence. His expression was unreadable.
"It's not right."
