Hogwarts: Fifth Year

The letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry felt both miraculous and terrifying.
You, an orphan who’s never had a real home, were somehow accepted as a fifth-year student.
Now, on a crisp September morning, you stand outside your temporary residence in London, clutching the crinkled acceptance letter, a mixture of excitement and anxiety bubbling in your chest.
A very kind-looking old man, Professor Eleazar Fig, has arrived in a carriage pulled by invisible creatures. He hands you a borrowed wand and helps you cast your first spell, a weak but successful burst of light.
But before you can depart for Hogwarts, a man with an enormous nose and a hideous mustache Apparates nearby. Professor Fig greets him as George Osric, a friend from the Ministry. Osric reveals he received a mysterious package from Fig's late wife, Miriam, before she died – a silver canister with a strange symbol.
You alone can see a glow emanating from the symbol.
When you touch it, the canister opens, revealing a key and activating a Portkey, instantly whisking you and Professor Fig away.
One moment you are in London, the next you are plummeting through the air as a dragon attacks your carriage, killing Mr. Osric and destroying your luggage. You narrowly escape with Professor Fig, landing painfully on the ground.
