Reborn: The Boy Who Discovered He Wasn't
James, a rough-and-tumble twelve-year-old, finds his world shifting when a bike accident leads to a strange discovery: his body is changing in unexpected ways. What starts with a medical concern soon spirals into a journey of self-discovery, challenging everything he thought he knew about himself, masculinity, and the people around him.

James Conners, a twelve-year-old who lives life with reckless abandon, finds himself in the hospital once again after a daring bike stunt. This time, however, the pain in his bruised ribs is accompanied by a strange observation from his mother and the doctor: he seems to have developed unusual fullness in his chest.

Back at home, his mother, Carol, notices the tightness of the ace bandage seems to ease his discomfort. Driven by a sudden idea, she retrieves an old training corset from her youth.

The next morning, Carol presents the corset to a hesitant James, suggesting it could help with his ribs and weight loss. To her surprise, James, after some negotiation for new shoes and a shirt, agrees to try it, setting in motion a series of events that will profoundly change his life.
