You wake up in a forest of tall trees under a sky of swirling blues and pinks. Before you stands a river and a stone bridge, and a grumpy, amber-eyed man who claims to be your guide to the afterlife. He explains that you must drink from the river to be reincarnated, but you refuse.
An earthquake shatters the peaceful scene, and you fall into a void, only to awaken later as an infant in a warm crib, with your memories and adult consciousness surprisingly intact. You slowly learn the language of your new parents, Elleria and Konnyr, and begin to master your tiny body.
