The Corporation's Secret

The shocking news spread like wildfire across Harvard Yard: eccentric chemistry professor Chester Harold Mosey had seemingly been in two places at once. Students clustered around their phones, buzzing with theories about twins, illusions, or robots. But Leonor Reid, the professor’s meal delivery assistant, knew it had to be something more.
That evening, hurrying through the chilly autumn air, Leonor arrived at Professor Mosey’s isolated campus office with his dinner. Using her key, she let herself in, only to find the office tidier than usual and the professor’s safe shut. A moment later, the professor himself arrived, disoriented but excited. He confirmed her wildest suspicion: he had invented time travel using a blue liquid, the “solution,” and had successfully traveled back in time for the first time today.
Their conversation was cut short by the sound of someone unlocking the back door downstairs. The "men in grey suits" Professor Mosey had feared for years had come. He shoved Leonor out onto the window ledge, forcing her to promise to keep his secret, before locking himself in. Leonor, hidden on the ledge, watched in horror as Corporate agents stormed the office, interrogated the professor, and ultimately killed him with poisoned darts after stealing the solution.
