Skylar Anderson, a high school senior, prioritizes sleep and good grades above all else. Her world is predictable, a cycle of school, studying, and quiet nights at home with her cat. But a mysterious letter, tucked away in her mailbox, shatters this routine, pulling her into the orbit of the infamous Caden Miller, the school's bad boy and a secret gang leader. Suddenly, Skylar's carefree life is anything but.
The morning started like any other Monday for Skylar Anderson – a battle against the alarm clock and the dread of school. After being tricked out of cupcakes by her best friend Alex, her day took an immediate turn for the worse. A humiliating collision in the hallway with the infamous Caden Miller left her on the floor, bruised and annoyed. Later, receiving a 'C' on her Physics test was the final blow, setting off alarm bells for her grade-conscious parents.
Returning home, a strange letter in the mailbox added a layer of confusion to her already frustrating day. Addressed to her, but from an unknown 'B.M', it demanded a midnight meeting at the sketchy Chriswood Street. Despite her initial hesitation, Skylar’s curiosity is piqued.
