Broken Reflection

The echo of your own voice, pre-recorded and uploaded, faded from the empty room. Leaning back in your chair, you sighed, the familiar weight of dread settling in. Mirror Maru's voice, a chilling echo in your mind, began its taunts.
"You are under my control, and you know it."
Another wave of pain, sharp and searing, shot through your arm and eye, blooming behind your temples. You barely flinched, used to the physical toll of the entity's presence. What truly hurt was the thought of your fans, your friends, being hurt by this thing that had consumed your life, your channel, your brother. You stood, clutching the armrest of your chair, trying to push back against the invasive whispers.
"Get out of my head, Mirror. I refuse to listen to you anymore!"
Mirror's cruel laughter filled your skull, a cacophony of demonic whispers joining in. The cracking sound echoed, a physical manifestation of the split in your being. Collapsing to the floor, you were left with only the sound of your own shaky breathing.
