The Sparda Heir

After being betrayed and left for dead, Naruto Uzumaki awakens a hidden power and lineage that will change his destiny forever. No longer the despised pariah, he is Nero Sparda, heir to the legendary Dark Knight. The Chunin Exams are just the beginning of a journey into a world of demons, hidden truths, and the pursuit of true power.

The second stage of the Chunin Exams is underway in the Forest of Death. Team 7, consisting of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno, is separated.

Naruto finds himself alone and is attacked by a giant snake. After defeating it, he reunites with his teammates who are facing a strange woman. This woman reveals herself to be Orochimaru and expresses a desire for Sasuke's body and Sharingan.

Sasuke and Sakura abandon Naruto, leaving him to confront Orochimaru alone. The legendary Sannin overpowers Naruto, severely wounding him.

As Naruto lies dying, he enters his mindscape and encounters Vergil, who reveals Naruto's true lineage as his son and the reincarnation of Sparda. Naruto is given the Devil Bringer and Yamato, and his appearance begins to change.

He awakens back in the Forest of Death, healed but transformed, and must now navigate the rest of the Chunin Exams and the ninja world with his hidden demonic identity.
