Ferris Bueller's Younger Sister

The morning sun streamed through the windows of the Bueller house, promising a perfect day. But for you, Margot, the day began with the familiar sounds of chaos emanating from your older brother Ferris's room.
Your sister Jeanie was already there, her voice sharp with annoyance. "Dry that one out and you can fertilize the lawn," she said as you walked down the hall, knowing instantly that Ferris was putting on another one of his performances. He was feigning sickness, again.
As you entered his room, Ferris flopped onto the bed in his dramatic fake-sick finale. You knew, just like Jeanie, that it was all an act. The difference was, you weren't annoyed. You'd learned that going along with Ferris usually worked in your favor. And today felt like a day where being on Ferris's side was the only place to be.
