The Fake Date

Olivia and Ethan, lifelong enemies bound by a shared history of pranks and mutual loathing, find themselves trapped in a spontaneous fake relationship to fend off their persistent exes, Justin and Annabelle. What starts as a desperate lie at a high-society party quickly escalates, forcing them to navigate the treacherous waters of pretending to be a couple, both in public and behind closed doors. Can their carefully constructed facade withstand the pressure, or will their forced proximity ignite an unexpected spark amidst the manufactured romance and lingering animosity?
“Olivia!” my mom sang from downstairs in a British accent. “Yes, mother?” I asked, going downstairs in the kitchen where she was. “Call the peasants, my darling, we must get ready for the ball,” she said dramatically. “The ball?” I asked, feigning confusion. “Will you two stop it, we're already running late on our plan. Liv, go get dressed, Maya, honey, please, get dressed,” my dad said, coming out of his study. “So boring,” my mom and I mumbled in sync. I went back upstairs, this time to the bathroom to shower and then get ready. We're going to a party tonight.
