Forgotten by the world, two figures float through the ages, their powers shaping the seasons and the heart. Jack Frost, the spirit of winter and mischief, yearns for belief. (Y/N), known as Cupid, the embodiment of love, understands his loneliness. But as a shadow from the past threatens the very foundation of childhood wonder, they are called upon by the Man in the Moon for a destiny neither expected: becoming Guardians. Can the boy no one sees and the girl who gives what she can't have protect the children's light?

Darkness and icy water give way to the bright glow of the Moon. You, Jack Frost, rise from the frigid depths, breathless and confused, your eyes a brilliant blue. You see the Moon, feel its presence, and then you know your name.

Centuries pass. You float through the world, creating snow days and fun, but no one sees you. Not until you meet (Y/N), the girl who also exists just beyond human sight, who understands your loneliness.

Then, a shadow falls over the Globe at the North Pole. Lights representing believing children begin to flicker out. Pitch Black, the Boogeyman, has returned.

The Guardians – North, Bunnymund, Tooth, and Sandy – are summoned. And to their surprise, the Man in the Moon chooses two new protectors: the mischievous spirit of winter and the unseen embodiment of love.
