Meenakshi: Daughter of the King

The grand halls of Vindhyanagara palace echo with hushed whispers of unrest from the border villages. Princess Meenakshi, known to the world as the dutiful royal daughter, stands before her father, the King. But beneath the surface, she carries a secret forged in determination and years of rigorous training, a secret known only to a select few.
“Rajaji,” she begins, her voice calm despite the gravity of the news, “I have been hearing that the situation near our forest borders is going haywire.”
The King nods, a weary look in his eyes. "Yes, dear. Soldiers who have been sent there have also returned empty-handed."
A silent understanding passes between them – a recognition of the hidden path she has walked. This is her chance to be useful, to apply the skills she has secretly honed.
“I request you to send me to the village,” Meenakshi states, her resolve firm. “I shall get to the depth of this.”
Though shocked, the King sees the warrior she has become. He nods, the weight of his past regrets visible.
Meenakshi bows, a silent promise in her heart, and leaves to prepare. Her journey, however, will be undertaken not as Princess Meenakshi, but as the skilled warrior she has pretended to be for fourteen years.
