The Cellar

The Cellar
Sixteen-year-old Summer Robinson vanishes without a trace from the quiet town of Long Thorpe. Trapped in a cellar with other girls, she learns of her kidnapper's twisted fantasy of a perfect family. As time runs out, Summer must navigate this terrifying reality and find a way to escape before she becomes another wilting flower in the cellar.

The dull, grey sky outside your window reflects the dreary reality of Long Thorpe, a town where nothing ever happens – until now. GCSEs are finally over, and you're celebrating your freedom by heading to a local gig with friends. Your boyfriend, Lewis, expresses his usual concern about you walking alone, but you brush it off; you've been walking these streets for years. A brief, unnerving encounter with old Harold Fox near the graveyard adds a flicker of unease, quickly dismissed. You meet your friend Kerri outside the social club, but your other friend, Rachel, has run off after an argument. Reluctantly, you agree to search for her, splitting up with Kerri in the park. As you walk across the field, a deep voice calls out, not your name, but "Lily." Your stomach drops as a tall, dark figure emerges from behind the hedge, his eyes fixed on you with a chilling intensity. He approaches, repeating the name, a satisfied grin on his face. You protest, giving your real name, but he insists you are Lily. Before you can react, he grabs you, covering your mouth, stifling your screams as he drags you towards a waiting white van. Fear grips you as you realize this isn't a mistake; you've been targeted.
