Dust settled outside the window as you leaned forward, catching your first glimpse of Messalina, the shining capital of Candera and home to The Myre. A wide smile stretched across your face, the golden plains of the Fire Province finally giving way to cobblestone streets and towering buildings.
Hours of staring at grass were finally over. Your leg bounced with anticipation as the carriage weaved through the bustling city, past the magnificent Messalina Castle, and finally, to a grand set of golden gates. Above them, the words 'The Myre' gleamed.
This was it. Your new home. The only school of magic in the kingdom.
