August 24, 1987. Another school year at Lidran High School. For Orion, a shapeshifter with a past he doesn't fully remember, it means another year of blending in and avoiding attention.
The halls are bright and bustling with students, a stark contrast to Orion's preference for quiet solitude. He searches for his classroom, eventually finding Room 407.
Inside, students are already settling in. Orion finds a seat at the back, hoping to disappear into the background. He pulls out a book, pretending to read, when a voice breaks through his carefully constructed barrier.
