The One Thing He Hated

You find yourself unexpectedly in a beautiful, spiritual-energy-rich room in the mortal realm. This is not where you expected to land after being sent away by Tian. Annoyed and suspicious, you hide your figure, observing your surroundings. The only sign of life is the rustling from the next room.
Just as you are about to leave, a sound draws your attention. To your shock, a human child, an infant, seems to perceive your hidden presence. It's round, chubby, and, in your estimation, incredibly ugly. A wave of frustration washes over you – you despise children. You can't shake the feeling that Tian's actions are deliberate, perhaps related to the promise you made regarding your Master, the fallen god.
As you watch, the child curiously reaches out towards you. Unable to resist, you approach, crouching before the bed. You voice your disdain, calling the child ugly. Unexpectedly, the child stops, stares at you, and then bursts into heart-wrenching sobs. The noise attracts attention, and a young man rushes in, panicking over the crying infant.
