The Last Ascendant: Zombie Apocalypse
After surviving the end of his own world, a 10,000-year-old cultivator descends to a Lower Plane, only to find it in the throes of a bizarre zombie apocalypse. Ren Zexian awoke from his sealed state, alone in a dark underground space. The air held a faint trace of spiritual energy, more than his dead home world. Breaking free of his calcified shell, he sensed no other life nearby. Using his senses, he found a narrow crack leading away from the underground pockets where they landed. Expanding the crack with a burst of energy, he followed a faint flow of air into a strange, uniform corridor lit by dim, blinking crystals. At a dead end, he ascended a vertical shaft using his sword, entering a space constructed of cold, unfamiliar metal. Distracted by odd growling noises, he was confronted by wandering corpses – unlike any undead he had encountered before.
