The Princess's Reckoning

The Princess's Reckoning
In a world where ancient supernatural creatures clash with modern life, a werewolf princess cast out by her family for a terrifying prophecy holds the key to their survival. As a war looms between werewolves and vampires, the kingdom's only hope lies in summoning the very daughter they abandoned. Can she forgive the family that betrayed her and embrace a destiny shrouded in both darkness and light?

In the dark hours of the night, the Werewolf Kingdom is surprisingly calm, a deceptive peace before an approaching storm. King Gabriel, the weight of an impending war with the vampires heavy on his shoulders, sits in his office, a crumpled threat in his hand. Frustration and agitation ripple through him. His mate, Queen Isabella, enters, followed by their twins, Rayan and Rayna, and Rayan's mate, Ivory. The king reveals the dire situation – another threat from the vampires. They discuss their options, and Queen Isabella suggests seeking guidance from Natalia, the former queen, who has been under a sleeping spell. Despite the twins' reluctance, reminding their father of the reason for Natalia's spell, the king agrees. They proceed to an indoor garden where Natalia's coffin lies. Using royal blood, they break the spell, awakening Natalia, who is furious at being disturbed. The frantic arrival of a maid reveals Natalia is awake and angered, breaking things in her room. The family rushes to her, only to be met with her wrath. Natalia demands to know why she was awakened. After Gabriel explains the looming war, Natalia insists that the entire royal family must fight together, specifically naming Analise, the youngest princess, to the shock and immediate refusal of the others.
