At thirteen months, a robotic voice beeps in your mind: the Inheritance System has activated, a gift from God.

By age three, you're rapidly learning the world's language, devouring books, and discovering the existence of hidden cultivators.

Now six, the System fully awakens, annoying and helpful by turns. Your father presents you with a choice: join the distant immortal sects to cultivate or stay and become an official. You choose the former, overriding the System's warnings.
