The Parent Trap: Bakugou Edition

The morning air in France felt crisp, but your mood was anything but. “KO! GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE NOW! YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE!” your mother, Y/N, yelled from downstairs. You dragged your suitcase down the steps, each bump a reflection of your annoyance. Summer camp? Social skills? Stupid. You had an audition to practice for.
Outside, Grandpa Masaru was already there, a comforting presence. You clung to his arm, complaining about this ridiculous trip, but even he sided with your mother. The drive to the airport was silent, your frustration a thick cloud in the car. At the terminal, your mother’s eyes teared up as she hugged you tight.
“If you’re going to miss me then why are you sending me away?” you mumbled, trying to keep your voice steady. She chuckled, calling you her “baby girl,” which only made you bury your face deeper into her neck. As your flight was called, you pulled away, quickly wiping your eyes. You mumbled a quick “I love you” before running towards your terminal, leaving the two people you cared about most behind.
