The blaring of your alarm jolts you awake. Another morning, another race against time to get to the office. You scramble to get ready, skipping breakfast and arguing with your mom, before finally rushing out the door.
The crowded bus ride is a blur until a sudden jolt sends you colliding with someone, sending your new water bottle clattering to the ground. Before you can apologize, a cold, furious voice snaps at you. Looking up, you are met with the piercing glare of a man who looks like he could kill.
