Two Worlds

Two Worlds
In a kingdom blanketed by the first snow, where a young shoemaker named Cinder toils to support his demanding step-family, a royal ball is announced. The Crown Prince seeks a spouse, opening the doors of the palace to all eligible youths. Cinder, pragmatic and weary of his family's extravagant dreams, refuses to attend. But fate, in the form of a meddling fairy godmother, has other plans, thrusting Cinder into a world of magic and unexpected encounters where he might just find something he wasn't looking for.

Snow falls softly on the kingdom, coating the houses and fields in white. Inside a humble shoemaker's workshop, the air is warm with the scent of leather and the murmur of voices. Cinder, a young man with calloused hands, measures a customer for winter boots, his mind on the never-ending struggle to make ends meet.

Two women chatter about the upcoming royal ball, a grand event where the prince will seek a spouse. They speak of hopes and rumors, oblivious to the weariness in Cinder's eyes. He finishes his work, bows politely, and watches them go, their voices fading into the snowy evening.

Alone in the quiet workshop, Cinder allows himself a moment of peace before the inevitable return of his step-family. The ball is the furthest thing from his mind; there are bills to pay and work to be done.
