The Mate's Pull

Ugh, here we go again, same shit different day, I thought to myself as I remained motionless on the ground. On the upside, at least it's the last day of school...now I only have about 3 months before I have to start a whole new hell...highschool. "They're gone H, you can get up now." Valerie said. I opened my eyes and looked up to find my older sister standing over me, hand outstretched to help me up from the ground. Valerie is everything that I am not. At 2 years older than me the differences between the both of us were blatantly obvious. Physically we looked as different as night and day. Pretty Valerie with her porcelain skin and vibrant red hair could light up any room. It was easy to see how she could be so popular, the perfect social butterfly extrovert. Whereas I am the awkward one. The one everyone so easily over looks.
