Scream: New Legacy

Scream: New Legacy
Caught in the chilling shadow of their past, Apryl and the Carpenter sisters find their new lives in New York shattered when Ghostface resurfaces. As secrets unravel and trust frays, they must confront not only a new killer but also the haunting legacy of Woodsboro.

The air in the convenience store was thick with the smell of stale coffee and cheap candy. It was late, and the fluorescent lights hummed overhead, casting a harsh glow on the rows of snacks.

Apryl Riley, tired from college and her night shift, sighed, rubbing her eyes. She just wanted to get home, to Tara, but the minutes on the clock seemed to tick by agonizingly slow. A group of girls her age entered, their eyes immediately finding her. The whispers started, the same rumors she'd been hearing online, the cruel accusations.

Suddenly, the cold, sugary liquid of a blue raspberry slushie splashed across her chest. Laughter echoed in the small store as the girls fled, leaving Apryl soaked and stinging with humiliation. “Murderer,” they’d hissed, the word cutting deeper than any knife. As she wiped the sticky mess from her clothes, her fingers brushed against a familiar scar, a jagged line that always brought back the horrifying memories of Woodsboro.
