The God of the Garden

The God of the Garden
Waking up with no memory in a place where people worship giant stone phalluses and being immediately married into a powerful family is just the beginning. Caught in a web of secrets, lies, and dangerous desires, you must navigate a world you don't understand, where your 'husband' might not be who he seems, and the only constant is the looming threat of the God of the Garden and those who serve him.

The air hangs heavy with the cloying scent of roses and a dark, unfamiliar musk. You blink, vision hazy, body weak, as you find yourself in a strange room.

Four veiled women in sheer white gowns stand before you. Panic flares. "Where am I?!" Your voice is hoarse.

Cold hands grip you, dragging you towards an enormous stone pool filled with shimmering water and rose petals. They scrub and oil your skin with something golden. As they pull you out, shaking, one hands you golden clothes and a veil.

"Follow the rules, or they will kill you," a voice warns. It's Amira.

You are led outside, sensing a massive, silent crowd. A deep voice commands, "Sysha." Not your name. Cold metal presses against your waist – a gun. "Kneel." You comply. "Bow." You bow, catching a glimpse of a massive stone phallus. Yesha.

Later, in a luxurious chamber, Amira reveals you've been married to Zayan Sarhan and that your fate lies with him. Alone, you tear off the veil, searching for escape, but the room is a gilded cage. The door opens, and a powerful, beautiful man enters, asking why you aren't wearing your veil. You try to kiss him, a desperate gamble, but he pulls away, tells you to follow the rules, and leaves. Minutes later, the door bursts open again. A different man enters, smiling. "Zayan," he says. "Your husband."
