This Would Be Paradise: Book 3

The world you knew has crumbled, replaced by the constant threat of the infected. Yet, a new kind of danger has emerged. You find yourself disoriented and handcuffed to a bed in a sterile room, the lingering effects of a drug dulling your senses.
A woman in a lab coat enters, introducing herself as Amelia, the head of a research facility. She explains that you are 'immune,' a valuable subject in their quest to understand why some people don't turn. Unwanted images of experiments flash in your mind.
Soon, a muscular man with tattoos, Josh, arrives, his taunting words making it clear you are now a prisoner, a 'subject' for their research. Your attempts to resist are futile. You are taken to a brightly lit cafeteria crawling with other immune individuals, all dressed in the same plain clothes. This is 'gen-pop,' a holding pen for those like you.
