My Dearest Siblings

The shrill alarm clock pierces the peaceful morning, jolting you awake. You instinctively shield your eyes from the bright light, reaching out to silence the noise. As you try to pull the covers off, a warm weight snuggled against your side pulls them back up. A messy mass of curly brown hair peeks out from under the blankets – it’s Hiro, your youngest brother, curled tightly against you, his arms wrapped around your waist.
"Not yet," he groans, pulling you back down. "Too early. Back to sleep."
You chuckle softly, gently pinching his cheeks. Hiro, at twelve, is adorable but incredibly clingy. You manage to untangle yourself and usher him to his room, then head to Tomo's. After a brief, teasing exchange with your older, strikingly handsome brother, you all get ready and head downstairs for breakfast. The familiar routine of sugary cereal for Hiro and coffee for Tomo unfolds. Soon, you're in the car, dropping Hiro off first, enduring his dramatic plea for a kiss goodbye. As Tomo drives you to your high school, his questions about your opinion of his looks make you blush, prompting a quick escape from the car before the conversation gets too embarrassing.
