But destiny, or perhaps Qadr, has more in store for her than she could ever imagine, leading her down a path of pain, self-betterment, unexpected friendships, and the possibility of love in the most unlikely of places.

The alarm blares at 5 AM, pulling you from sleep. It's the first day in Paris where you'll truly immerse yourself in this new society. A voice in your head reminds you of the importance of Fajr prayer, pushing you out of bed and towards the bathroom to perform Wudu.

After praying Tahajjud and making heartfelt dua, you feel a sense of peace settle over you, transforming a heavy heart into a light one filled with trust in Allah's plan. Life, which once felt like mere survival, is now about living. Sadness, resentment, hurt, overthinking, insecurities, and a past filled with 'haram' are behind you, replaced by the healing acceptance of your faith.
